Solano Wine & Food Jubilee is On, Rain or Shine!

Jubilee will be held — rain or shine

It has been said, “There is no bad weather, just unsuitable clothing.”

With that thought in mind, the Solano Wine & Food Jubilee Committee would like to assure ticketholders that this Saturday’s event will still go on – rain or shine. “Perhaps change your outfits from ‘wine country casual’ to something a little more ‘suitable,’” suggested Craig Bryan, Jubilee committee chairman. “Ticketholders and vendors, please be assured our committee is working hard to create an excellent experience, no matter what Mother Nature may bring.”

He added, “We have made arrangements to have much of the area out at the Harbison Event Center at the Nut Tree covered or protected, to ensure that our guests and vendors will be well taken care of if the weather is damp, as predicted.”

Ticketholders can still expect to enjoy plenty of food, wine and beers to sample at the event – comfortably protected under structures set up throughout the venue – thanks to the generous support of more than 100 vendors.

And, despite rain or shine, the event still benefits the programs of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement, assuring that those facing an end-of-life illness and their families will receive compassionate care, despite their ability to pay.

The 32nd annual Solano Wine & Food Jubilee is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. for VIPs and 6:30 p.m. for general admission. For more information, go to www.northbayC2C.org.
