Eleen Zarebidaki, MD
Pediatrics, Primary CareIt can be a scary time for parents, and for children, when a child is ill, but I believe that being patient and empathetic helps reassure both. No matter the circumstances of the visit, my goal is to make each one fun, easy and even enjoyable.
I love science and have always had a desire to care for people and to find a way to make change in the world, no matter how small. I chose to specialize in pediatrics because children have such innocence, hopefulness and, yes, even humor, that it makes my day-to-day job so much better.
It’s even better if I am able to work with families to help establish good, healthy habits from the beginning, so together we can avoid future diseases. Good communication with parents is the best way to support their children, and I strive to answer any questions they may have. Helping to foster a healthy home environment and lifestyle is key, and it gives me joy to believe I’ve helped a child toward success in health, school and social interactions with peers.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two fluffy Persian cats, tending to my many plants, traveling, painting and playing sports, like soccer.
