Meet Will Sutherland

Will Sutherland serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation and Integration Officer, leading NorthBay Health’s enterprise transformation strategy which drives system integration, operational performance and innovation across the organization. He is responsible for advancing care model transformation, improving efficiency and aligning teams, processes and technology to support high-quality, patient-centered care.

With more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience, Will is known for guiding complex organizations through large-scale change, enhancing patient experience and building highly engaged, high-performing teams. Prior to joining NorthBay Health, he held senior leadership roles with Scripps Health, UC San Diego Health and Vista Community Clinic, where he led ambulatory operations, population health initiatives and value-based care strategies. His work has resulted in significant improvements in quality outcomes, patient satisfaction and operational growth, including expanding access through clinic development and innovative care delivery models.

Will is passionate about reducing administrative burden for clinicians and creating systems that enable teams to deliver exceptional, compassionate care.

He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is certified as a Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
