Meet Ro Lofton

As Senior Vice President and President of NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital, Ro Lofton provides executive leadership for hospital operations, clinical services and patient experience across both campuses. With more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, she is known for driving improvements in quality, safety and operational performance while fostering a strong, patient-centered culture.

Ro has a proven track record of leading large, complex health systems through transformation, strengthening care delivery models and building high-performing, engaged teams. Prior to joining NorthBay Health, she served in senior executive roles at Alameda Health System and Kaiser Permanente, where she led systemwide nursing, clinical operations and performance improvement initiatives, including overseeing COVID-19 response efforts and advancing high-reliability practices.

Ro is actively engaged in professional and community organizations, serving on boards and advisory groups focused on advancing healthcare quality and access. Known for her authentic, collaborative leadership style, Ro is deeply committed to delivering safe and exceptional care to every patient and community NorthBay serves.

Ro holds master’s degrees in nursing and business administration and is board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
