Deadline for Symposium Abstracts is April 1

NorthBay Health has announce its sixth annual Evidence-Based Practice and Nursing Research Conference and the deadline for abstracts to be submitted is fast approaching.

The conference is open to all healthcare professionals who are interested in exploring the challenge of delivering evidence-based care and attempting to keep pace with the latest recommendations for excellence in clinical practice.

The event is Friday, Aug. 23, at NorthBay Health’s Green Valley Administration Center and this year’s theme is “Attain, Engrain, Sustain: The Pathway to Implementation Science.”  Keynote speaker will be Dr. Sharon Tucker, PhD, R.N., director of the Translational/Implementation Research Core for the Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-Based Practice at Ohio State University.  

Organizers are accepting abstracts of completed work.

The four categories for abstract submission are:

  • Research Study
  • Evidence-Based Practice Projects
  • Quality Improvement/New Innovations
  • Student Capstone Projects
