Conference Offers Hope for Children

NorthBay Healthcare is hosting the first-ever “Courage Conference: Hope and Healing for the Traumatized Child,” an educational event for professionals and laypersons who work with, live with, or otherwise encounter children who have experienced trauma.

Presented by Courage Center 2, the conference will be Nov. 3 and 4 at Green Valley Administration Center. Courage Center 2 is a Solano County nonprofit organization that helps investigate cases of child abuse.

Featured speakers include Dr. Aran Watson from the UCSF Child Trauma Research Program, Jane Dickel, LCSW of the JAYC Foundation (founded by kidnapping survivor Jaycee Dugard), and regional experts.
