Parveen Khan, MD
I treat women of all ages, from puberty to their post-menopausal years. Every patient is unique and I enjoy getting to know each of them and building a trusting relationship.
I believe in health education and I want my patients to understand what is going on with their body. But after a diagnosis, the first information comes directly from me as I sit down with my patient and have a conversation about her condition and treatment. We share in the decision-making once she understands what her choices are.
As a mother myself, I understand the concerns women have when they are pregnant. I like to share in the excitement of first-time moms and provide the support they need. I remind them that pregnancy is not a disease, but a normal and natural stage of life. I prefer that my patients experience their labor pain free, so they can enjoy the experience of bringing a new life into the world. However, I will explain all of the childbirth options that are available and support my patient in whatever her choice might be.
In addition to English, I'm fluent is Spanish, Urdu and Hindi.
