Zackery Wood, DO
I welcome patients of all ages and hope to build a long term practice in Fairfield.
I consider myself a mind, body and spirit professional. I believe the body will heal itself if given the chance, so I avoid medications whenever possible.
I like to educate my patients on how to become healthier people, not just on how to care for a condition or disease. I also address psychological issues, because if you’re not happy, you’re not healthy. I consider each patient’s lifestyle and personal environment when making a treatment plan.
I have a special interest in osteopathic manipulative treatment, or OMT, which involves techniques such as stretching, gentle pressure and resistance to ease pain and promote healing.
I grew up in a big family of osteopathic physicians, including my grandfather, father, uncles and brothers. Listening to medical discussions around the dinner table was common, and I’ve looked forward to the day I began my own practice.
Ademas, Yo hablo espanol y yo puedo explicar todos de sus informaciones medicos en espanol tambien.
